As most of you know I am an avid Apple person all the way around.  In our house we have an iMac, and iPad, MacBook Pro, and two iPhones. In my personal opinion I think it’s the best system for any professional photographer who lives and dies by producing portrait art, and running a small business.

What I have found with all of these devices is that you tend to do all of the same tasks on each of them and it’s difficult to make them all talk together and keep up-to-date.

We’ve had Apple’s MobileMe for a couple years and love it.  It keeps our calendars, contacts, email, and online storage all synched  up and it has been a godsend in cutting out duplication.  However, there is one thing that MobileMe doesn’t do and that is synch your iCal “ToDo” lists.  How I’ve tried so many of these free ToDo lists and $.99 ones from the iTunes store I won’t even tell you, but today I found one that rocks!  It’s called Appigo Sync.  Appigo Sync, is a free program and allows you to synchronize your tasks from Appigo Todo™ for the iPhone/iPod touch with iCal on Mac OS X or Microsoft Outlook on Windows.

I downloaded the each app (iPhone & iPad) for $4.99 and installed them.  I then went to the website Todo Online by Appigo and joined the 14 day trial ($19.99 for a year after that).  With all of these installed and running, all of my Apple devices communicate with Todo Online and it keeps everything synchronized.  I add a todo list item on my iPhone it updates the iPad, iMac, and Macbook Pro at the same time.  I walk over to my iMac and mark a todo item complete, it updates my iPhone and all other devices.

I can honest say I “hate” anything that has duplicates in it or I have to do something more than once on different devices.  Anything to make my life easier and allow more free time to be with my family and be creative.  I also believe when you find something that works for you to solve a problem, you should pass it on because someone else may have the exact same problem.  Have a great weekend!
